What to Do for Fun on Your Vacation

Anguilla is home to endless opportunities for both relaxation and excitement during your stay.

Spend sun-soaked hours along the pristine white sands of our beaches, from Crocus Bay and Meads Bay to Maundays Bay, Shoal Bay, and Rendezvous Bay. While you’re at the beach, local charter and rental companies like Anguilla Water Sports can help you make the most out of your time there! Plan an exciting scuba diving excursion or a snorkeling adventure. Explore the sea caves along the coast in a kayak or on a stand-up paddleboard. Feel the exhilaration of kitesurfing. Charter a boat for a sunset cruise or a fishing expedition. There’s no limit to the fun you can have!

Just offshore are a handful of delightful attractions some of the cays, such as Scilly Cay, Prickly Pear Cay, and Sandy Island, are home only to delicious restaurants serving up fresh Anguillan lobster and expertly crafted rum punch. Other islands, including Shrub Island and Dog Island, are uninhabited, but give you the extraordinary experience of feeling like you have an entire island to yourself. They’re also well-known hiking destinations.

On land, you have your choice of the modern-day Anguilla experience or diving into the island’s storied past.

Soak up the colorful ambiance of Anguilla in places like Sandy Ground, known for its lively nightlife and delectable restaurant scene, or the Valley, the artistic and cultural hub of the island, home to art galleries and eclectic boutiques.

For those interested in the fascinating history of our island, historic sites like the Old Factory, the Wallblake House, the Warden’s Place, the Heritage Collection Museum, and Fountain Cavern National Park are must-see spots. In particular, Fountain Cavern National Park is one of the best-preserved locations in the entire Caribbean for seeing the remnants of ancient indigenous people, including petroglyphs and a striking statue made from a stalagmite.
